Checklist for analysing Equity in Health Strategies

The purpose of this checklist is to analyse a health strategy, programme or activity (SPA) focusing on equity and social determinants of health (SDH), in order to identify and create proposals for their improvement that integrate an equity approach into that SPA.

This tool is an updated version of the checklist that forms part of the first phase of the process in the 2012 Methodological Guide to Integrating Equity into Health Strategies, Programmes and Activities. The checklist has been updated to create a tool which, in itself, makes it possible to carry out an analysis focusing on equity and SDH, and to define proposals for improvement.
