The Government distributes over 26 million euros among the Autonomous Communities for carrying out health strategies

The 2007- 2008 Summary Report on the National Health System Primary Care Provided  is now available on the Ministry of Health and Social Policy website in the Primary Care Information System section.

The Women’s Health Monitoring System has published the study Men and Healthcare
on the Ministry of Health and Social Polisy website. This publication is encompassed within the objective of generating and disseminating knowledge regarding inequalities in health particularly emphasizing gender inequalities, as part of the National Health System Quality Plan for promoting equity in health.

The Women’s Health Monitoring System has published the study Male Healthcare Professionals Involved in the Strategies Combatting Gender Violence on the Ministry of Health and Social Polisy website.  This publication is encompassed within the objective of further enhancing the prevention, detection and care provided through the healthcare services of the women who are at risk or are suffering from gender violence, as part of the National Health System Quality Plan for promoting equity in health.

On May 5th next, the World Health Organization will be holding the second Clean Hands Day at the healthcare centres.
The letter addressed to the National Health System clean hand program coordinating Team on the occasion of this Day is attached, inviting the Team to take part and disseminate the information within its institutional scope.
